How It Works
It’s simple but powerful. 100 Women, 1 Hour, $100 Each, $10,000 donated.
We meet 3 times per year to give approximately $10,000 to a local nonprofit. Our members nominate local charities with an immediate need. At each Giving Circle meeting, three pre-selected organizations present to our group. The group then votes to decide which nonprofit will receive the entire donation for that meeting. Thanks to the generosity of our Sponsors, 100% of member donations go directly to the charity.
100 Women Who Care Mississauga is volunteer-led, allowing 100% of members’ donations to go directly to the charities we support. However, there are costs associated with running our chapter (advertising, events, promotional items, etc), and this is where our Sponsors come in. Sponsor support allows us to do what we do to help our Mississauga communities by covering all our operating expenses. How Sponsorship Funds Are Used
There are various costs involved in running our chapter. As 100% of the donations from our members go directly to the charity, we invite you to sponsor 100 Women Who Care Mississauga to cover costs including, but not limited to:
MARKETING:
- Facebook ads for recruitment
- Banners
- Table cloths
- Postcards
IN-PERSON MEETINGS:
- Venue
- Food / beverages
- Name badges
- Miscellaneous supplies
OPERATING FEES:
- Bank account fees
- Website domains
- Website hosting
- Website theme
Sponsorship Opportunities
This exciting initiative brings together some of the smartest and most innovative women in our community. Your sponsorship of this initiative not only shows your support of women’s philanthropy but also establishes you as a catalyst for economic growth and social change in Mississauga.
Here is an overview of the various sponsorship options:
All sponsorships are for one year, from April1–March 31 (prorated for sponsors who join mid-term), with the exception of Title Sponsor (for the quarter of the Giving Circle they Sponsor), donations-in-kind, and door prizes (the week of the specific Giving Circle they are Supporting).

As a Title Sponsor, you will be featured during the quarter you are sponsoring. Recognition includes:
- Email Updates – Your company and logo will appear in 3 of our email updates during the quarter you are sponsoring.
- Your Banner/Sign – Your banner or sign will be displayed at the Giving Circle you are sponsoring.
- Reserved Seating at Giving Circle – You will have reserved seating by the stage for up to 6 company representatives at the Giving Circle you are sponsoring.
- Introduction and Presentation during Giving Circle –You will be introduced and may speak for 1 minute at the Giving Circle you are sponsoring.
- Announcement at Giving Circle – You will have the opportunity to announce which charity receives the most votes at the Giving Circle you are sponsoring.
- Exhibit Table Space – Promote your business with space at an exhibit table at the Giving Circle you are sponsoring.
- Promotional Materials – Share 1 small promotional or print item at the Giving Circle you are sponsoring.
- Cheque Presentation – 1 representative from your company will be invited to attend the cheque presentation and participate in the photoshoot at the charity that receives the donation for the Giving Circle you are sponsoring.
- Web – Your company name and large logo on the Giving Circle event page and the Sponsors page of the 100 Women Who Care Mississauga website with a link to your company’s site, for the quarter you are sponsoring.
- Video Recording – You will have the opportunity to share a 2-minute video on our social media platforms once during the quarter you are sponsoring.
- Organic Promotion – You are invited to share a special or deal on our social media platforms once during the quarter you are sponsoring.
- Social Media – Your company’s contributions will be recognized at least 3 times during the quarter you’re sponsoring on all of our social media platforms.
As a Platinum Sponsor, you will have the honour of having a blog post on our website and attending the cheque presentations. Recognition includes:
- Blog Post – A blog post will be written about your company once during the year and shared on our website and all our social media platforms.
- Your Banner/Sign – Your banner or sign will be displayed at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Exhibit Table Space – Promote your business with space at an exhibit table at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Promotional Materials – Share 1 small promotional or print item at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Cheque Presentations – 1 representative from your company will be invited to attend the cheque presentations and participate in the photoshoots at the charities that receive the donations.
- Web – Your company name and large logo on the Home page and the Sponsors page of the 100 Women Who Care Mississauga website with a link to your company’s site.
- Video Recording – You will have the opportunity to share a 2-minute video once per quarter on our social media channels.
- Organic Promotion – You are invited to share a special or deal once per quarter on our social media channels.
- Social Media – Your company’s contributions will be recognized once per quarter on our social media channels.
As a Premier Sponsor, you will be able to present at the Giving Circle. Recognition includes:
- Presentation – The opportunity to speak for 1 minute at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Banner or Exhibit Table Space – Promote your business with your banner or space at an exhibit table at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Promotional Materials – Share 1 small promotional or print item at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Web – Company name and large logo on the Sponsors page of the 100 Women Who Care Mississauga website with a link to your company’s site.
- Video Recording – You will have the opportunity to share a 2-minute video once per quarter on our social media channels.
- Organic Promotion – You are invited to share a special or deal once per quarter on our social media channels.
- Social Media – Your company’s contributions will be recognized once per quarter on our social media channels.
As a Signature Sponsor, you will secure the honour of having an exhibit table at our quarterly events. Recognition includes:
- Banner or Exhibit Table Space – Promote your business with your banner or space at an exhibit table at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Promotional Materials – Share 1 small promotional or print item at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Web – Company name and medium logo on the Sponsors page of the 100 Women Who Care Mississauga website with a link to your company’s site.
- Video Recording – You will have the opportunity to share a 2-minute video once per quarter on our social media channels.
- Organic Promotion – You are invited to share a special or deal once per quarter on our social media channels.
- Social Media – Your company’s contributions will be recognized once per quarter on our social media channels.
Recognition as a Community Partner Sponsor includes:
- Promotional Materials – Share 1 small promotional or print item at each of our Giving Circle Meetings.
- Web – Company name and small logo on the Sponsors page of the 100 Women Who Care Mississauga website with a link to your company’s site.
- Organic Promotion – You are invited to share a special or deal once per quarter on our social media channels.
- Social Media – Your company’s contributions will be recognized once per quarter on our social media channels.
If you would like to offer a donation-in-kind, you will receive recognition in the quarter your donation is received. Examples of donations-in-kind include Venue for Giving Circle meetings, Refreshments at Giving Circle meetings, Promotional materials, Advertising, etc.
Recognition of Donation-In-Kind Sponsorship includes:
- Social Media – Your company’s contributions will be recognized before or after a Giving Circle Meeting on all our social media channels.
- Event recognition - Verbal recognition at the Giving Circle Meeting in the quarter your donation was received.
We would like to offer door prizes at meetings as a way to appreciate our members.
Recognition of Door Prize donors includes:
- Social Media – Your company’s contributions will be recognized before or after the Giving Circle Meeting on all our social media channels.
- Event recognition – Verbal recognition at the Giving Circle Meeting.

100 Women Who Care Mississauga reserves the right to approve or disapprove sponsors for any reason.
