We are happy to share some great news — 100 Women Who Care Mississauga has been awarded the Diamond Award in the 2025 Mississauga News Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Non-Profit / Foundation!

This recognition is more than just a title — it’s a reflection of what happens when women come together with purpose, compassion, and a shared commitment to giving back.

A Win for the Entire Community

This award belongs to our amazing members, sponsors, and supporters — who have believed in our mission, contributed their time, their energy, and their dollars to help strengthen our community. Every meeting attended, every nomination submitted, every $100 donation made — it all adds up to something extraordinary.

Together, we’ve shown that when women unite around a shared goal, we don’t just make an impact — we create lasting change.

Our Growing Impact

Since launching in 2021, our chapter has donated more than $175,000 to local Mississauga charities, helping fund vital programs and services that touch the lives of countless residents.

Each of our Giving Circles represents the true spirit of collective giving: one hour, three charity presentations, and one powerful vote that changes lives. Through our members’ generosity, we’ve supported a wide range of organizations — from youth empowerment programs and mental health initiatives to community food banks and family support services.

In 2025 alone, our Giving Circles helped fund:

  • Start2Finish, supporting children through the Running & Reading program
  • Options Mississauga Print & Office Services, empowering adults with intellectual disabilities through employment training
  • EveryMind Mental Health Services, expanding counseling programs for youth and young adults

Each of these donations represents not just a financial contribution, but hope — hope for individuals and families across Mississauga who rely on these vital programs.

The Power of “100”

Our model is simple yet powerful: 100 women (or more!), each donating $100, combine their resources to create an immediate, measurable impact. In just one hour, that’s a $10,000+ donation — and as our chapter has grown to over 150 members, that impact has multiplied exponentially.

This collective strength — The Power of 100 — is what sets our group apart. It reminds us that no matter how busy life gets, each of us can make a difference. When we come together, we amplify one another’s generosity and help our community thrive.

Gratitude to Our Sponsors and Steering Team

We couldn’t achieve this without our dedicated sponsors, whose ongoing financial and in-kind support make it possible for us to host events, celebrate our members, and grow our impact year after year.

A heartfelt thank-you also goes to our Steering Team — the volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes to organize events, manage communications, and keep everything running smoothly. Your passion, dedication, and teamwork make all the difference.

Looking Ahead

Winning the Diamond Award is not just a moment of celebration — it’s a reminder that our collective efforts are being seen, valued, and felt throughout Mississauga. As we head into 2026, we’re more inspired than ever to continue growing our membership, supporting more charities, and building stronger community connections.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us, cheered us on, or contributed in any way. This award is proof that what we’re doing matters — and that together, we’re creating a ripple effect of kindness and impact across our city.

With heartfelt gratitude and pride,

Christine Hull
