We’re thrilled to announce that after the first round of vetting, 28 of the 29 nominated charities have officially advanced to Phase 2 of our Fall 2025 vetting process! 💙
Each of these incredible organizations has now been sent an application to complete as part of our detailed evaluation cycle. All applications are due by Friday, October 31st, and we can’t wait to review them as we move one step closer to selecting the three charities that will present at our November 12th Giving Circle.
This process is one of the most exciting times of the year for our team — it’s when we truly see the heart of Mississauga come to life through the organizations that uplift, support, and empower our community every day.

💙 The Power of 100 Women Who Care
Our nomination and vetting process ensures that every dollar donated goes directly to local impact. Each nominated charity is carefully reviewed for eligibility, which includes:
- Being Canadian and based in Mississauga
- Having a valid charitable registration number
- Providing direct services that benefit Mississauga residents
- Issuing individual tax receipts for donations
- Demonstrating a clear, immediate need
- Committing that 100% of our donation goes directly to that need
It’s a rigorous process — but one that ensures our collective giving truly makes a difference right here at home.
🙌 Thank You to Our Members and Vetting Team
A heartfelt thank you to all our members who took the time to nominate charities for consideration. Your enthusiasm, compassion, and generosity continue to drive the success of our Giving Circles. Each nomination tells a story — a story of care, hope, and belief in the power of community.
We also extend special gratitude to our Charities Management Team, Ritu Kohli-Sethi and Melissa Blais Prospero, for their tireless work behind the scenes. Their diligence, attention to detail, and commitment ensure that our process runs smoothly and fairly every single cycle
