100 Women Who Care Mississauga Nominated for MBOT’s Sam McCallion Community Award

When I started 100 Women Who Care Mississauga four years ago, my heart was set on helping others in our community. What I didn’t fully realize was just how far that help would extend—the ripple effect of kindness, generosity, and hope that would touch so many lives.

With over 150 dedicated members, we’ve donated nearly $150,000 in just 12 one-hour meetings. But beyond the numbers, it’s the stories of impact, the connections made, and the strength of women coming together that have been the most rewarding.

At the heart of everything we do is our Steering Team—past and present. These incredible women work tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that every Giving Circle, every nomination, and every donation truly makes a difference. Their dedication, passion, and belief in our mission keep this movement going strong.

I’m beyond honored to share that 100 Women Who Care Mississauga has been nominated for the Sam McCallion Community Involvement Award at the Mississauga Board of Trade’s 2025 Business Awards of Excellence. Winners will be announced on May 8th at the 2025 MBOT Business Awards of Excellence.
