Thoughts From Our Community

” I am very excited to be a part of the creation and launch of the 100 Women Who Care Mississauga. I have always been an active volunteer and have been looking for a new way to get more involved in the community. The best thing about this group is it addresses immediate needs in our own community and 100% of the proceeds are donated directly to the charities, without all the bureaucracy. For members, it offers a big impact with a limited time requirement, especially helpful for people who already have huge demands on their time.”

“Everyday I feel blessed to live the life I do. I have always believed in the power of ordinary people to positively impact their community by being a volunteer. I enjoy volunteering my time to a worthy cause. The 100 Women Who Care organization aligns with my mission to share my talents and my abundance with others. “

“There are many reasons why I decided to join 100 Women Who Care Mississauga and make a difference to the people within the city. Being a volunteer on the committee will allow the opportunity to make a positive impact on the organization. From building awareness of the different charities within our great city, to developing skills for myself, I am thrilled to have a voice and belong to such an impactful organization. Simply feeling good about giving back to the community has always been a core-value of mine. “

“I am excited to be part of the Steering Committee for 100 Women Who Care Mississauga. For the last 8 years, I have volunteered and worked with children from some of the poorest neighbourhoods in Mississauga. Through that experience, I witnessed how much good can be done by even a small contribution at a local level. I truly feel an initiative like this will make a massive difference to our community.

“I am new to Mississauga, but did huge amounts of fundraising in Scotland. When I heard the wonderful ethos of 100 Women Who Care, I wanted this to be my first venture into fundraising in Canada.”

“We all face different challenges and struggles and it is our community who comes together to help in various ways. Through the100 Women Who Care, Mississauga Chapter, I look forward to directly helping various charities continue doing what they can to help our community. Big or small, we can always do something to help one another.”
